Betsy Strehl
Treasurer
Betsy Strehl is a senior with a concentration in biomechanics and is so excited to be a part of the BMES executive board. When not in LBME, you can most likely find her with Courtney in the (B)Ugli doing homework or hanging out in dorm Community Centers. Her favorite BME course thus far is BME 458, because it was the first time she was able to take all her engineering knowledge and put it to the test by building devices, even making an EEG for her final project!

Courtney is a senior with a concentration in biomechanics and a minor in Asian Languages and Cultures with a focus on Japanese. Courtney is in her third year as BMES Secretary. On campus, she volunteers at SAPAC, UHS, and the Ann Arbor VA Hospital.
When not in class, you can catch Courtney in the basement of the Ugli with her BME Girl Squad, in the School of Nursing working on research, or hanging out with her cat, Ruthie, named after Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She is extremely involved in her research lab, and is applying to medical school next year.
Courtney is very happy to answer any questions about publishing research as an undergrad, balancing pre-med with engineering, or anything related!
