Brianne is a senior in Chemical Engineering and oversees all the workings of the society, acting as a liaison between members, the department, and other organizations.
She is a graduate student in Biomedical Engineering and assists in the society's functioning, organizing events such as lab tours, student-faculty brunch, and tech day.
She is a junior in Biomedical Engineering. In her role as secretary, she sends out the weekly announcements, handles membership, tracks event attendance, books spaces for events, and responds to inquiries sent to the executive board
He is a graduate student in Biomedical Engineering. As treasurer, he monitors budget and spending for BMES, controls BMES bank account activity, plans budget meetings over the summer, and oversees the organization of BMES annual meeting sponsorship.
Publicity and Networking Chair
Quentaya is a junior in Biomedical Engineering. In her role as publicity and networking chair she keeps track of all things social media related, including this website. She publicizes events and maintains our platforms. She also helps out with University-wide events such as Giving Blueday.
Riely is the Social Chair for BMES. She is a senior in BME in the Biomechanical concentration. As a Social Chair, she helps plan any events or activities put on for all members of the BMES community.
Industry Event Chair
Jill is a senior in Biomedical Engineering. As Industry Event Chair, Jill plans and delivers events that bring in alumni and industry representatives to meet with students. Events may be panels, seminars, or lunches.
Medical School Event Chair
David is a sophomore in Biomedical Engineering. As Medical School Event Chair, David plans and delivers events that bring in faculty and students that are both apart of BME and the U of M hospital. Students looking to go to med school may benefit greatly from the seminars, panels, and one-on-ones David helps organize.
Research Event Chair
Mitch is a senior in Biomedical Engineering. As Research Event Chair, Mitch plans and delivers events that bring in faculty, alumni, and other students to showcase the work being done in the BME department. Events such as research presentations, panels, and lab tours help students decide if a future in research may fit them.
